Analogue is
a design and contemporary culture bookshop that includes an exhibition
space showcasing new work by emerging artists and illustrators. They
recentrly published this awesome little illustrated book by Nigel
Peake. Here's what they have to say about it:
"Analogue is
proud to announce the release of the first book by Irish born
illustrator/artist/designer and all-round bad speller, Nigel Peake.
Peake first wandered through the doors of our bookshop 6 years ago with
a pile of drawings under his arm. Since then we have had the pleasure
to work with him on zines, signage, screenprints, t-shirts and more
recently, a solo exhibition in our gallery space.
'Sheds' contains 32 pages of Peake's recent work inspired by a
fascination with primitive structures, travels in China and a recent
cycling trip around Europe drawing barns, sheds and grain silos.
Peake's style of drawing is characterised by amazing detail and
beautifully muted colours."
