Remember a couple of years ago when Sony announced that they were ready to release the Playstation 3, and you got so excited that you held out on buying any new games for your PS2 because you were saving up for the new system? Remember months after they were supposed to release it and it still wasn't out yet and you had that big piggy bank full of money just sitting there on the shelf? Wait, maybe you're so cool that you don't even play video games? Whatever. We're not. During the past year or so my wife Wendy and I have been picking up games for our PS2 like they were going out of style because, in a way, they were: Here are what might be some of the last good (and bad and ugly) games that'll be coming out for the Playstation 2. There'll likely be a few stragglers but this is pretty much it...

The Sims 2
EA Games

	WENDY 7/10
	I like this game because it's like life but it's pretty much stress free. It's addictive and because there's no end you could play forever.

	Some of these games that we're reviewing I didn't even play, sometimes I just like to watch Wendy play them like I'm watching TV or something. So this 6 rating is based purely on entertainment value... not exactly thrilling, but it's not a snoozer.

50 Cent Bulletproof

	There's no point whatsoever and it's slightly disturbing... there's no plotline, you just go around and kill a bunch of people. I was like "why am I killing them?" Maybe I pressed the wrong button and missed the intro or something.

	Easily the worst PS2 game I've ever played. It's kinda like what the original Quake might be like if it sucked really bad.

Cabela's Alaskan Adventures
Activision

	WENDY 7/10
	I like these Cabela's games because I like animals and I like sneaking around. When I was little I'd trap animals just to get to see them up close and in this game I get to see them a lot, even if it is right before I kill them. This chapter in the series is cool because it has a bird shooting tournament that's like Duck Hunt only better.

	This one is definitely all about the bird shooting tournament. You drive around in a boat and stop to shoot a shotgun at geese.

Cabela's Outdoor Adventures
Activision

	WENDY 8.5/10
	This is the best one out of the entire Cabela's series: The controls are set up the best and if I remember correctly the levels were pretty diverse compared to the other ones.

	CLIVE 8/10
	This one seemed themost challenging out of all of them, maybe because it was the first one I played. The fishing parts in it are rad.

Def Jam Fight For New York
EA Games

	WENDY 8/10
	This is an awesome fighting game. The best thing about it is all the rad people you get to be [basically every rapper on Def Jam is a character] and how much they actually look like the real people. My favorite is either Sean Paul or Busta Rhymes. Actually, Sean Paul because I like the way he talks, it's funny.

	It's like rapper Street Fighter and for some reason you can choose to be Henry Rollins!

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland

	It's fun but the storyline and characters in the storyline [not the pro skaters] are really cheesy.

	It's fun to play but I think my interest in these games really peaked at THPS3... they're not getting worse but they're not getting better either.

Indigo Prophecy

	It was extremely weird but the gameplay is interesting because it's not like any other game I've played... in a way it's like a Choose Your Own Adventure.

	All I remember about this game is that there was some weird dialogue in it. Sweet review, huh?

King Kong

	The game followed the movie pretty well but there was some weird random shit added in there... and the gameplay is kinda weird and not all that fun; there's minimal options of what your charcter could do and lots of stuff you can't really control.

	I hate to keep comparing these games to games of the past but this one was a little bit like Jurassic Park for Sega Genesis. I'm giving it an extra point for the part where you get to break the dinosaur's jaw in half backwards. That part was awesome.

Katamari Damacy

	It's the most insane, crazy, fun, original game I've ever played.

We Heart Katamari

	Same as the first one, just a step up, maybe because the levels are bigger.

Medal Of Honor Frontline

	I didn't expect to like it but it turned out to be pretty fun. I liked the parts where I got to snipe because I don't like too much action in games, it stresses me out. I don't like it when the chances of me dying are really high.

	I love war movies and I love war video games. Unlike the 50 Cent game, there's actually a reason why you kill people in this one... to get to Hitler so you can kill him! Fuck Hitler, man!

Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater

	it was pretty easy and a lot of it was kinda the same. It's basically all about sneaking - which is good - but there's not a whole lot of diversity going on.

	It's kinda slow but it has some cool battle sequences.

Nascar 07
EA Sports

	I played this for about 5 minutes before packaging it up and mailing it to a friend whose 5 year old son might want it. Bo-o-o-o-ring, and the cars handle like tanks, maybe it's a bit too realistic.

NBA Live 07

	Just watched, I never played it because I'm not a sports fan.

	As far as basketball games go, this is the second best one I've ever played. The best thing about it is that you can choose to be the 80's or 90's All Stars and destroy whoever you're playing with them. You can choose the 50's, 60's or 70's as well but they pretty much suck compared to the dream team.

Rapala Pro Fishing

	It's fishing and fishing is awesome.

	Can't disagree there. Fishing is awesome and so is this game.

Shadow Of The Colossus

	Visually it's amazing and it's a really original concept. The only thing that's wrong with it is the storyline at the end is a little wacky.

	It's kinda like watching an epic fantasy movie that you're a part of. I think it's the best Playstation game ever. Perfection.

The Sims 2 Pets
EA Games

	I love animals, pets are fun and so are Sims games but this one got boring pretty quick.

	This is another one that I didn't play but just watched. Not that exciting.

SSX On Tour

	It was fun to play but there was a little bit of cheese and almost all the music was crap, but that's expected in a game like this.

	I actually did some consulting work on this game so I think I might be disqualified from giving you my opinion of it. Actually, fuck it! 10 out of 10!

The Suffering

	I didn't play i just watched but it was pretty fucked up and kinda boring. it was scary though and that made it kinda fun.

	You're a psycho on the loose in a prison or something, there's weird shit chasing you around and you're in, like, a maze or something. I hate mazes, they're like math.

Tenchu Fatal Shadows

	There was a lot of sneaking in this game and I like sneaking.

	Pretty slow paced but you're like a ninja and there's parts where you drop down on people and slit their throats and blood spurts all over the place, so it's not all that bad.

Tomb Raider Legend

	it was kinda fun but it was exactly the same as all the other Tomb Raider games... and that includes the graphics, they haven't improved one them one bit.

	I'm not a big fan of Tomb Raider games but I like the parts where you kill stuff.

The Warriors

	I didn't see the movie until after I played the game so really there was no point in watching it because the game was pretty much dead on except it had a more elaborate storyline, and with more characters. It's like the extended version of the movie.

	Yeah, it was like watching the movie and having breaks where you get to play a modern version of that old arcade game, Renegade. Awesome.
